Compiled by Jon Stinson Milford- Police apprehended a Milford man with two active warrants while taking a “pit-stop” at the “Milford On The Run”. Officer Daniel Gastia entered the popular Milford convenience store on January 12th shortly after 4pm, and quickly recognized one Kareem Stokes from previous arrests.
Officer Gastia noticed Stokes exit the store and enter a vehicle that then pulled up to the gas pumps. The Officer then returned to his cruiser and checked for active warrants out for Stokes. Upon finding the individual had two warrants for probation violations, the officer approached the vehicle at the pumps and arrested Stokes for the active warrants.
During the pat-down, Officer Gastia found two small bags containing a white powder later identified as cocaine. Kareem Stokes was arrested on two counts of probation violation and possession of cocaine, a schedule W substance.
