GOULDSBORO, Maine – Police arrested 29-year-old Michael Smith of Addison after an incident at a home off of West Bay Road Friday. The alleged assault had ceased once officers responded to the scene. Evidence was collected from the home to aid an ongoing investigation into the matter. Police charged Smith with criminal trespass, operating a vehicle after license suspension, disorderly conduct, and driving to endanger. Winter Harbor Police assisted Gouldsboro officers in responding to the scene. Smith is from Addison, Maine, a coastal community located 22 miles east of Gouldsboro on U.S. Route 1.
