Police Investigating Fake $100 Bill

Police are looking into the passing of a single counterfeit $100 bill which surfaced earlier this week in Bangor.
Three local businesses have reported receiving fake bills of $50 and $100.
There was also an incident reported in Ellsworth, but police are unsure if there is a relation.
Anyone with information about counterfeit bills can call the anonymous tip lines at Bangor police at 207-947-7384 and Ellsworth police at 207-667-2168.
