Are you a fan of Hip Hop or the artistry of classical music? How about the experimental mixture of genres and art styles as vastly different as those two? The musical performance duo “Black Violin” mixes influences of a variety of genres to create a unique sound many described as “classical boom”. Black Violin has shared the spotlight with acts like Alicia Keys, Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park and Fort Minor. Offstage the group has worked as producers and writers for artists like Kanye West and Aerosmith. On April 4th at 7:30 pm, the duo will be performing at Husson’s own Gracie Theater.
