Husson University’s Habitat for Humanity Club spent their spring break in Clemson, South Carolina. The students along with Advisor David Gardiner worked on a house for a low-income family. They put drywall on the ceilings and walls, painted the walls and filled some trenches.
Gardiner enjoys working with these students every year.

“They’re a great group of students, the best thing about them is their team spirit [because] they help each other out,” Gardiner said.
Every spring break, the group travels to different sites with an objective to complete a project. They host bake sales, send out letters to families and friends, and use money from Husson’s Student Government to fundraise for the trip.
These particular students want to take advantage of their break by helping others.
